This course teaches the power of good documentation using electronic health records (EHR). You’ll learn why accurate, clear, and timely notes matter—not just for compliance, but for helping clients get the care they need. Whether you’re new to EHR systems or already using them, this training explains what’s required and how to stay organized.
You’ll explore how documentation connects to client safety, ethical care, and better teamwork. Real-world examples show how poor records can hurt outcomes—and how strong documentation builds trust. This training also covers core skills like writing clearly, flagging important changes, and using checklists or templates to reduce errors.
By the end, you’ll understand how to protect yourself, your team, and your clients through strong, thoughtful, and consistent documentation.
