ASAM Documentation, part 1

No Refunds

Pete Nielsen, President and CEO of CCAPP, draws from over two decades of involvement with the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria. He underscores ASAM’s progression from a basic placement sheet to a comprehensive guiding book for patient placement. ASAM’s recognition has expanded significantly, solidifying its status as the industry standard for treatment facility placement. Pete emphasizes the pivotal role of medical necessity and patient placement criteria in justifying treatment funding. He also acknowledges the variations in medical necessity standards across different funding sources. Pete’s objective is to deliver an enlightening training session covering medical necessity, patient placement criteria, and ASAM’s significance in addiction treatment.
